Expanded Options
Expanded Options is a program that allows eligible Coquille High School students to take college-level courses directly through Southwestern Oregon Community College while still enrolled in high school. Unlike Dual Credit, which is taught at CHS, Expanded Options courses are taken online or on the SWOCC campus, giving students the chance to experience real college classes and earn both high school and college credit at the same time.
This opportunity is ideal for students who are ready for advanced coursework and want to explore subjects not offered at CHS. Tuition and textbook costs are covered by the school district, making it a cost-effective way to jumpstart a college degree.
