Career and Technical Education

Welcome to the Agriculture Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program at Coquille Junior Senior High School! Our program provides students with hands-on, real-world experiences that prepare them for careers in agriculture, natural resources, and technical trades. With two primary focus areas: Agricultural Science and  Agricultural Shop. Through these programs, students explore the diverse and evolving world of agriculture through both classroom learning and hands-on application.

Agriculture Science Pathway

The Agricultural Science strand focuses on the biological, environmental, and technological aspects of agriculture. Students explore the science behind plant and animal systems, sustainability, and agri-business.

Agriculture Shop Pathway

The Agricultural Shop strand prepares students for careers in the skilled trades, focusing on hands-on learning and technical skills in a shop setting.

  • Heavy Equipment Simulators

Coquille High School FFA Chapter

The Coquille High School FFA Chapter is a vital part of our Agriculture Program, fostering leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. FFA members participate in:

  • Career Development Events (CDEs)

  • Leadership Conferences

  • Community Service Projects

  • Livestock Judging, Forestry, Vet Science, and more!
